| MailMonitor
reduces the threat of email-borne viruses at network boundaries.
The software checks all email traffic passing through
gateways and email servers, providing an extra layer of
protection against mass-mailing viruses. Threat reduction
technology in MailMonitor reduces users' exposure to virus
threats even further, by blocking potential carriers -
such as attachments with double extensions, Windows/DOS
executables and files sent to many recipients or with
specific subject lines - at the gateway, where they are
quarantined and can be disinfected or deleted. MailMonitor
also detects viruses in email attachments compressed with
Zip and other popular compression utilities and has features
that give administrators total network control.

The number of servers and computers protected cannot exceed
the number of users covered by the licence. The number
of servers covered by the licence is limited to 10% of
the total number of users licensed (with a minimum of
1 server). MailMonitor is licenced by the number of mailboxes
that will benefit from the protection. |
